Skulduggery PleasantThe story starts off with Stephine Edgley who's grandfather died. At the funeral of Gordan she meets a man called Skulduggery Pleasant. Then her life is changed forever when she is brought into a world of magic and killers and a skeleton detective and she has to keep her real name a secret.
