Letter to World Vision

Dear World Vision

Hello my name is Marshall and I go to Freeville School in Christchurch and I think that the work that you are doing is great but if you don't get enough money from us to help people in poor countries. Here are some things that I think would help.

You're asking for too much money! People may want to sponsor you but cant come up with about $100 per month. So maybe lower the price and I'm very sure that you will get more money

Go fundraising on the streets. If you go out onto the streets and people give you  $1 or $2 you will probably get more instead of having to come up with $100.

Try get some volunteers to help raise money for you so that they might feel that they are helping a bit more than they are now.

Say some good things on what could happen. If we sponsor you we will want to know what our money will be going to. Try focus on good things on what will happen.

Some people just might want to pay for one thing like getting a someone out of Child Labour

Now I think that you will get more money. But before this ends I just want to say again that I think that you are doing a great job helping out in the world and are making it a better place.

By Marshall.

  1. Marshall you raise a good point about us wanting to know what happens to the money. Some things we make donations for we find only a small amount goes to the cause. The rest can be tied up in advertising, administration etc... Elizabeth
