World Vision Letter

Wednesday 25th August

Dear World Vision. My name is Rebecca. I love the way that you are giving children a better life to live for.  I am writing to you because I think that child slavery should stop.

I think that kids like me but in different countries should be allowed to be free, but it is part of our human rights to be free and to be a slave to no one.

I don't know why kids are treated like slaves when the kids are only ten or even younger.
Its not a great idea to have a child as a slave, its against their will.

I have seen your website and it looks like lots of families are very poor and need a better house to live in and better conditions.  I understand that kids need to eat, drink and be healthy and receive schooling.

Its really great to see you saving peoples lives so keep it up.

I will support by asking my mum and dad to think about donating some money to your cause.

Thank you for reading my letter
Rebecca.
Dear World Vision.
My name is Mr.McQueen. I teach Year 5/6 children at Freeville School in Christchurchurch
My class and I have been looking at Human Rights issues relating particularly to children from Third World countries and the way they are treated especially by grown ups.

We are saddened and angry at the level of hardship these people face and the frustration in getting help to them. It must be very difficult and demanding especially as funds are limited as are the people who work for you.

We appreciate the work World Vision is doing and hope we can help in some way either by donating money or perhaps one day actually working in a country that needs help.

Warm Regards

Wayne McQueen

World Vision Letter

Tuesday 24th August

Dear World Vision, my name is Alex and I am from Christchurch here in NZ.

I am amazed at all the work you have done for those people who live in Third World countries who struggle to feed their family and lead happy lives like me.

I am writing to you because I want child labour to stop. It is cruel and no one deserves to work under awful conditions. Its like being held hostage against their will.

What I want to know is what you do and how you manage to get all the kids released from their bonded labour.

If we can find out all of this information then I am sure that we can stop child labour.

I would like to support World Vision by trying to talk my parents into freeing a child.

Yours Sincerly
Alex

World Vision Letter

Tuesday 24th August

Dear World Vision, my name is Liam.

I am writing this letter about people working on the streets doing horrible jobs like picking up rubbish doing jobs like this is awful because they live on very little earn little and get treated badly. They also get forced to work against there will. The country I'm talking bout is Indonesia one other topic I would like to talk about is the flood in Pakistan. I think all the money you get should go to building a village where the flood was or put an add on t.v. asking people to donate to help build a village and help the children, family's,who where in the flood.

thank you for taking
your time to read this.

World Vision Letter

Tuesday 24th August

Dear World Vision, my name is Amara and I attend Freeville School in Christchurch.
I am impressed by all your hard work you put into helping out poor countries but I am still saddened because it is so frustrating to reach everyone.

I am also upset by the bad conditions they live in and all their needs.

I have recently been looking at your website it is very interesting.
I have some suggestions:

1. Have a fundraising activity to raise money.
2. Help the adults by providing food and water.
3. Help them get proper jobs to look after themselves.

I would like to put a stop to this I wish there was a way of doing that better.

Thanks for your time.
Amara

World Vision Letter

Dear World Vision, my name is Jahna. I am a pupil at Freeville School here in Christchurch.

I am writing to you because I think you are doing a great job with the children and adults you are helping.
I am impressed at the efforts you make to help free children from their bonded labour but am sad at the lives these children have once they return to their families.

Treating people is bad because it is...
1.Mean,horrible
2.Child abuse
3. Human cruelty
4.The mean person would not like it if they were treated badly.

I think World Vision should take more action in helping children and adults once the family is united. Here are some ideas that may work:
1.Set a fundraiser for clean water
2.Give food
3.Give clean clothes
4.Plant fruit trees
5.Have professional doctors or nurses working in the area.

Now I know not to moan when I'm hungry, when I don't want to go to school or whats in my lunch box.
I know not to moan any more and thank you World Vision because you have changed my way in thinking.

Kind Regards
Jahna

World Vison Letter

Hi my name is Finesi and I live in Christchurch and go to Freevillle school. I am writing. this letter to World Vision about the way children have been treated.

I am angry about the children in need.and I think World Vision is doing a very good job but they could do better in some ways .
I feel angry that children are put into slavery for making cigarettes as it is against their human rights. they spend long hours working in factory's  making rugs, putting matches into match  boxes.with out any breaks
what I think World vision should do.
you should get children out of there hard work they are doing. you should do more fun raise and a  dollar donations every week just do what ever you can do to help the children.

Thank you world vision for your time Sincere Finesi

World Vison Letter

Dear World Vision. My name is Lewis and I go to Freeville School here in Christchurch.

I am impressed with all your hard work you are doing to help the poor children from around the world but I am still unhappy with the way they have been treated badly by mean grown ups who take adavantage of them.

Many of these children don't have any proper food, water, clothing or medicine for when they are sick. I am lucky because I have all this stuff.

Perhaps I could send some stuff over to you like my old clothes or toys. The school I go to could do some fundraising and send some money to you.

I like how World Vision help the needy people by giving them food and stuff.

Yours Sincerely
Lewis

Letter to World Vision

Dear Sur/Madam.
My name is Sanne, and I am a child from Freeville school in Christchurch.

I am angry and  very sad that people in poor countries like India, parts of Africa and other countries dont have clear water to drink and not much clean food to eat that is not poiseness.

Supplys should be brought to them so that they can get ceared for more, and can get more help.
Human rights have been taken of them because they dont have much food and water to drink, most of them dont have any shelter and they are not happy.

Every 19 minutes 20 people die from illness or wounds.
What Iam asking is for  the World Vision people should take back children and their familys who are really sick and care for them in a safer country, then when they are better again they can be taken back and they will be HAPPY again.
World Vision is already doing a WONDERFUL job, but if  the do that it would make everyone even more happy again.

The purpose of my letter is about trying to make people better and get cared for more and be happy and get their family back together.

People who try to steal and harm people in poor contry should be punished.
It is not fair that they are being mean and lazy to children or even adults by making them do their dirty work or making them unhappy by  stealing their food and giving them yucky food and water in return.

Some examples of miss treatment that happen in countries could be,
people who dont live in their countries and and poluting their land and not thinking about what they have done.
People making wors in their homes.
Taking people from their familys and making them their slaves.
Fighting over food and hurting friends and family and making other people sad just becous they are sad and other things aswell.
I appreciate it

Thankyou you are doing well!
from sanne!!!!!!!!!!!

Letter to World Vision

Dear Sir/Madam, my name is Arlia and I am a child from Freeville school in Christchurch.
I am angry and very sad that people in poor Countries like India and parts of Africa don't get clean water and good food. Some of the water is polluted.

Supplys should be brought to them so that they get good food. They need food more than wealthy countries because wealthy countries have lots  of clean water and good food to eat.About every 19 minutes more than 20 people die of starvation and hunger.

Human rights have been taken off them because they don't have much food and no water to drink. Most of them don't have any shelter and they are not happy about that.sSome of the children are ill and don't have medicaneand some of them die.

They only eat 1 cup of rice a meal or even less.People in poor countries starve because they don't have anything to eat.

You do really well helping people and giving them money to spent on food and supplys.People in Pakistan really thank you and the people who give money to raise twards them.Every $1 makes a change to their lives. They really appreciate it.You do really well. It's great that you give them some food to eat. That food proberly lasts them a week.

To do better you should give them more food and mabe give them some medican to use forwhen people are sick or are very ill.You could give them some money to use on shelter and warm clothes for them to wear.

They might fight over food and they could hurt people pushing and fighting for food. But thank you for supporting them and I bet they love you people coming in and giving them some food .I have recently been looking at your website and it is nicely set out and it is sad that little baby's are really skinny and have no milk or food to eat.

Thank you for supporting people
Keep it up From Arlia

Letter to World Vision

Dear World Vision

Hello my name is Marshall and I go to Freeville School in Christchurch and I think that the work that you are doing is great but if you don't get enough money from us to help people in poor countries. Here are some things that I think would help.

You're asking for too much money! People may want to sponsor you but cant come up with about $100 per month. So maybe lower the price and I'm very sure that you will get more money

Go fundraising on the streets. If you go out onto the streets and people give you  $1 or $2 you will probably get more instead of having to come up with $100.

Try get some volunteers to help raise money for you so that they might feel that they are helping a bit more than they are now.

Say some good things on what could happen. If we sponsor you we will want to know what our money will be going to. Try focus on good things on what will happen.

Some people just might want to pay for one thing like getting a someone out of Child Labour

Now I think that you will get more money. But before this ends I just want to say again that I think that you are doing a great job helping out in the world and are making it a better place.

By Marshall.
